Children developing courage
Children are part of life. If you are married they could be the reason to stay married, or the reason you don’t stay married. They are the picture of courage, and you should be required to have just a little bit of training just to have them. Children are creatures that start out little, wind up big, and will always be your children. Their title in life will always be “son” or “daughter” to the parents, and friends of parents. I can now see some advantages to allowing kids to play video games. The speed with which one must recognise a target, and find the button to shoot the target, then shoot the target and hit the target, is amazing. All on an XBox 360. [Read more →]

Hooray for Traffic Delays
On Saturday we went to the annual Celtic Festival in Austin Texas. It is not like this is some incredible journey, we do live here in Austin after all. However on Saturday this 7 mile journey took nearly an hour to get back at the end of the day. When we left home around 8AM we got on I-35, went south for about 3 or 4 minutes, then finished up in the park about 15 minutes after we had left the house. [Read more →]

Let’s keep with the brilliance of Congress, and fix hunger like we are fixing our health care system.
Congress has fixed healthcare. The new legislation is quite amazing in it simplicity, and I don’t know why we have not thought of this before now. We are now going to be legally obligated to buy health insurance. If you are an employer, you must provide health insurance to your employees. [Read more →]
